Located at the heart of Oslob, Cebu. Sumilon Island lies just 15-20 minutes off the coast of Oslob in Cebu Province. The refreshing torquoise water, to the white powdery white sand beaches and the stunning sandbar that stretches to about a hundred meters. You will be entertained by the gorgeous view of mainland Cebu and the endless horizon of deep blue ocean waters.

Oslob is not just recognized because of the adorable Whale Sharks but also for the beautiful and exquisite Sumilon Island.

It takes 3-4 Hours ride From Cebu City going to Oslob. You can take Public Transportation like Bus or using Private Car. The ride is quiet long but the view going there from Cebu City will let you forget about the tiresome 3 hours ride because of the beautiful views of the places the you will pass by going there. It will make you appreciate more the beauty of Nature and Scenery. I suggest, before departing from Cebu City going to Oslob, You should bring foods and drinks  or drop by nearest Fast Food Chains (i.e. Jollibee,Mcdonalds) in case you will get hungry and thirsty along the way.

A Boat to take you to Sumilon Island

You can ride a boat going to Sumilon Island exclusive for your Companion and you if you don't want to ride with other guest. Better change beach or swimwear attire before going to Sumilon Island because there is a fare of Php 30 when using toilet or changing room.

There is a Php 50 Environmental Fee that locals collect in Sumilon Island. The best time to go to Sumilon Island is during the low tide hours, From 2pm onward. There will also be less people during those hours. Don't forget to bring water and foods upon going there because there is no near restaurant or store in Sumilon Island.

The boat ride may take 10-15 minutes in going there. There, you can enjoy the beautiful and white sand beach, The Sandbar and go Swimming. Just don't forget to bring Camera (preferably underwater or waterproof camera) with you, So you can enjoy taking photos while swimming underwater and capturing the beautiful sceneries of the Island.
